My name in Franklin Dumolijn, I was born in Knokke in 1949.
Over time, my interest in photography has grown continuously. The rules of emotion and content play an important role in this, as a result of which I have a preference for black-and-white images portraying "man" as a subject.
I find it hard to describe what feelings are brought about in snapshots encompassing all components such as lighting, composition and experience.
Because of my passion for perfection I work with FUJI cameras, such as the X T1 and X T2, where the prime lenses, such as XF 35mm F1.4 / XF 23mm F2 / XF 56mm F1.2 are preferred.
The XF 10-24mm F2 is my favourite wide-angle lens for landscape photography.
Photography is the simplest thing in the world, but is incredibly complicated to make it really work.
